The Russian invasion of Ukraine threatens the peaceful coexistence in Europe. As shareholders of E-world energy & water, conIenergy agency and Messe Essen therefore support all sanction measures of the German government and announce that exhibiting companies from Russia will not be allowed to participate in Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry. The exclusion also applies to companies from Belarus.
The European Taxi Fair is moving from Cologne to Essen next year. With the recent conclusion of the contract, Messe Essen has already succeeded in acquiring the seventh trade fair for 2022 and the following years.

Together with United Fairs BV, the organizer of the European Bridal Week, Messe Essen implemented its new infection protection concept for the first time. Conclusion: The measures are sustainable and serve as a master plan for the coming trade fairs in Essen.
Messe Essen has been waiting a long time for this signal. Oliver P. Kuhrt has been confirmed in his function as the CEO of Messe Essen. The Supervisory Board has passed a unanimous resolution in favour of extending the contract by another five years ahead of schedule.
From January 30 to February 1, 2019, the European showmen's industry will meet up at Messe Essen. At the same time as the starting signal for the modernisation, Messe Essen is celebrating the opening of its Info Pavilion today. During the first construction phase until the autumn of 2017, the meeting point designed specifically for this purpose will impart things worth knowing about all the aspects of the construction project.
