Equitana - The World Exhibition for Equestrian Sports
Hosting 1,000 Horses
Every two years, MESSE ESSEN is transformed into the world’s largest equestrian venue. During EQUITANA, around 1,000 horses move onto the exhibition grounds, all of which need to be cared for, exercised and looked after. Animal welfare is our highest priority and forms the basis for the design and construction of the temporary stables located in selected exhibition halls as well as on outdoor parking and logistics areas.
Once our neighing guests have settled in, the next logistical challenge begins: managing and disposing of several tonnes of horse manure.
