A successful corporate anniversary featuring international guests

To celebrate the anniversary of a leading energy company, MESSE ESSEN welcomed around 10,000 guests from Germany and abroad. Across more than 40,000 sqm of event space, a bespoke event concept was created, featuring a plenary session, entertainment programme, catering services and comprehensive security measures – including a performance by Robbie Williams and a visit from then German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

What Made the Anniversary Event a Success

10,000 Guests, Seamless Transportation

A comprehensive shuttle concept was developed to manage guest arrivals and departures. Around 160 coaches transported attendees between hotels and the exhibition grounds, ensuring smooth and efficient operations throughout the event.

Security at the Highest Level

The event required an exceptionally detailed security concept. Working closely with authorities and security professionals, extensive measures were implemented and all operational processes were carefully coordinated.

From Plenary Hall to Concert Arena

Following the official programme, the event hall was transformed into a concert venue within a very short timeframe. Thanks to meticulous planning and logistical preparation, the conversion for Robbie Williams’ performance was completed seamlessly.

Flexible Spaces for Individual Requirements

What began as a concept involving a combination of exhibition halls evolved into an event spanning four exhibition halls, additional outdoor areas and the Business Club. MESSE ESSEN provided the flexibility and infrastructure required to deliver the event successfully.
