At the same time as the starting signal for the modernisation, Messe Essen is celebrating the opening of its Info Pavilion today. During the first construction phase until the autumn of 2017, the meeting point designed specifically for this purpose will impart things worth knowing about all the aspects of the construction project. Any interested people are being cordially invited to take a virtual look into the new fair site and to obtain information about the individual construction phases. The Info Pavilion covering around 55 m² is located in the P1 car park directly to the right of the entrance.
For Esseners and all the other interested people, the Info Pavilion is the central meeting place in order to gain an initial impression of the New Messe Essen. Moreover, it serves as an information platform for exhibitors, new customers and business partners and as the starting and finishing point of the guided tours of the fair site.
"In the future, too, it will be important to us to provide comprehensive information about the construction measure. For this reason, we have decided to implement this directly in situ with the aid of an Info Pavilion," explained Oliver P. Kuhrt, CEO of Messe Essen.
Info Material to Take Away and 3D Video Animation
The heart of the pavilion is a 3D video animation which guides visitors through the new foyer, the new conference area, the new Hall 6 and the new VIP Lounge. Visitors are provided with the 3D glasses required for this purpose free of charge in situ. Moreover, a large diagram explains everything worth knowing about all the aspects of the individual construction phases. In addition, an illustrated timeline from the founding of the fair company in 1913 to the completion of the modernisation in 2019 is showing important stages in the history of the fair company. Of course, info material is also available to take away.
